Nickey, SJ and I spent part of yesterday evening at the vet's office. It looks like my poor little guy (Nickey, not SJ) has a combination of a bladder and prostate infection. He didn't enjoy having the vet feel his prostate, but he behaved pretty well. He even tried to scale the examining table (jumping from a nearby bench)-- didn't realize how strong he was! He almost made it too. Nickey is officially 21.9 pounds... so he DID get heavier.

He's now on antibiotics so hopefully it should clear up. Our vet is in San Ramon-- a far drive from Mountain View, but worth it because they have an excellent staff.
