On our way back from Oregon (to pick up Nickey), we stopped by Cypress to get gas. Cypress is right by Redding. Anyways, I was sitting in the car and SJ went inside to give them my credit card because the card swiper at the pump wasn't working. Once the tank was filled up, I went in to retrieve my card because I had to sign for it. The gas station attendant was this 20-something white guy. He looked at me all confused, and proceeded to say with a hint of a smirk, "There was a WHITE GUY who came in here with this card. You look different." I said, "He's not white, he's Chinese." And he looked confused I was worried he'd hurt his brain from thinking too hard, which he was obviously not used to doing. Then he kept saying "Really?? Maybe it was the sunlight."
