Contrary to what you might think, the site is not about what coffee tastes good or comparing Peets to Starbucks. The content is focused on coffee makers, espresso machines, the barista industry (who knew they had national barista competitions??) and the art of making coffee and espresso drinks (check out the newbie's guide to frothing milk. I gotta start practicing.). I don't know why I'm so hooked on this site. Caffeine must transmit through the computer monitor...

Movie recommendation of the week: Cold Mountain. Fine acting, although it was difficult for me to believe the actors in their roles. I mean, come on, Jude Law as a southerner? He tried hard at that southern accent but every so often the Brit one would pop out. The problem with having 2 huge celebrities as the main characters is that you don't see Ada Monroe and Inman. You see them as Jude Law and Nicole Kidman.

In any case, the soundtrack has an excellent song- The Scarlet Tide by Alison Krauss. It sounds like a church hymn. Perhaps the backbone of it is one?
