Day 3 in NY, and yet even more delicious food. Tonight's dinner was at Wildflower, a cute little place in Greenwich Village.

The restaurant had an inviting, warm, & cozy interior. Above is an example of the cute sponge-painted walls!

My mouth-watering dinner of filet mignon (medium rare), mash, and garlic-sauteed spinach. Unfortunately I don't have photos of my roasted garlic tomato broth (appetizer) and "warm fuzzy" chocolate cake with vanilla-ginger gelato (dessert). I'm sure the descriptions sound good enough to convince you how good the food was.

The outside of Wallflower.

View of Greenwich Village at night (Bleecker & McDougal intersection).

After dinner, we made our way over to the Upper East Side and enjoyed drinks at Paddy's.

Second day of NYC and already I'm starting to get sort of used to the cold. Sort of.

Around Times Square, where MTV TRL is filmed.

Jeff and I enjoyed dinner at this great restaurant you see above, Ruby Foo's. We dined on Vietnamese spring rolls, some funky jicama salad, and sushi: Peking duck roll, spicy tuna roll, Chilean sea bass roll, and salmon nigiri. And let's not forget dessert-- caramel apple spring rolls and coffee. Well, I had a cappucino, natch.

On the way to the Ax Jeeves party, Jeff was kind enough to show me some fun spots such as this-- Rockefeller Center!

Posing with New York's finest (the police woman). The sight behind me is simply beautiful and much more captivating in person.

Finally, the best for last-- me and Boba Fett!

In New York City for the very first time ever. The flight was ok, but unbelievably stuffy and everyone got motion sickness towards the end!

First dining experience in NYC: Carnegie Deli. Carrie and Kmart were right when they said you could end up spending $50 for a meal for 2 people at a NY deli!

How big are these sandwiches? Check out Scott's BLT:

This is my meal, a tuna melt.

Stay tuned for more posts on the food of NY! (and the rest of my trip)

"I have no regrets. I tried my hardest... and if I don't win the gold, it's OK. I've had a great career. I've been very lucky. This is a sport, and it's beautiful."

Michelle, you are a true champion. Stay strong.
